    • Make sure that any cars which go off the track under green are marked as Off Track Image:Blackflag.png (repairs). If there is a caution the computer needs to know which cars are actually on the track. If the race runs too long with an uncorrected CAR OFF TRACK the race will not be scored properly.
  • If there is a caution (red or yellow flag) press the corresponding colored Flag Image:Flagcontrolson.png when the flagperson waves the flag OR press F2 for a Yellow Flag and F3 for a Red Flag.
    • Immediately after a yellow/red flag make sure to mark which cars went dead under green with Image:Reminderbox.png the Reminder box near the car number. This is a reminder as to which cars should get DOT charges when the judges make their decision.
  • As any cars go off the track, mark them using the Off Track menu Image:Blackflag.png Image:carcallmenu.png
    • The off track cars will be placed at the back of the lineup, in the order they cross the start/finish line.

  • When the white flag is thrown, be ready to press the Checkered Flag button (F4)before the lead car crosses the start/finish line.
    • Other cars can cross between pressing the button and the lead car crossing, as long as the button is pressed before the lead car crosses
  • The finishing order will now be displayed in the scoreboard box and on the scoreboard.
  • If there are any cars that were DOT on the checkered flag lap (did not finish), be sure to make the manual change in the Edit Lineup Results

[edit] Changing Information On The Fly(Race Scoring)

There are several options in the race scoring mode which help to keep this software up-to-date with real-world situations. Most of these situations consist of quick, un-planned changes of transponders, but may also be driver changes at the last minute due to unexpected circumstances. All "On the Fly" options in the Race Scoring mode can be accessed by right-clicking on the driver's name

[edit] Changing drivers "On the Fly"

  • To change drivers, click on the driver's name in the starting grid and select the new driver from the list. Only drivers registered in the current class will be displayed.

[edit] There are two methods to change transponders "On the Fly":

  • If a Message Window on the Race Scoring page opens it will show a list of un-assigned transponders that have recently passed the Scoring Loop
    • Try to identify the car that has the wrong transponder
    • Click on the transponder entry next to the driver's name in the starting grid:
      • A drop-down list of all transponders will appear.
      • Pick the correct replacement transponder from the drop-down list.
    • Right click on Driver.
      • Right Click on drivers name and select Change Transponder and replace their transponder with the one that is showing on the track.

[edit] Transponders not registered

  • Right click on drivers name
  • Select Add New Transponder and add the transponder information and name

An option to clear a driver can be accessed by right-clicking on a driver's name.
